Marbella offers an incredible variety of places to eat – from a traditional Spanish breakfast in the Old Town and casual local restaurants to stylish beach clubs and elegant restaurants with beautiful views. Below you will find some of our recommendations for different occasions and experiences.
Breakfast – Traditional Spanish Churros
Start your morning with one of Spain's most traditional breakfasts – freshly prepared churros. Crispy on the outside and soft inside, churros are typically enjoyed with coffee or dipped into a cup of thick hot chocolate.
There are several places to enjoy churros around Marbella Old Town. One of our recommendations is Chocolatería San Ginés, where you can enjoy a traditional Spanish breakfast before taking a morning walk through the beautiful streets of the Old Town.

Chinese Buffet – Restaurante Jardín Chino
If you are looking for a casual meal at a very reasonable price, Restaurante Jardín Chino is located just around the corner from the apartment.
This family-run Chinese restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat buffet for lunch and dinner with a selection of Chinese dishes. It is an easy and inexpensive option (around 15 euros per person) when you want something informal without walking into town.
The restaurant is located at the beginning of Calle Málaga, near the traffic lights, only two minutes walking distance from the apartment.

Traditional Spanish Tapas Bars & Restaurants
One of the best ways to experience Marbella is to spend an evening exploring the traditional tapas bars and restaurants in and around the Old Town. Instead of choosing just one restaurant, you can also do it the Spanish way – order a drink and a few tapas, then continue to another bar and try something different.
La Taberna del Pintxo
A lively and informal place to experience Spanish-style pintxos. A great choice if you would like to try many different small dishes and enjoy a casual evening in the centre of Marbella.
El Estrecho
One of Marbella's classic traditional tapas bars, hidden in a narrow street in the Old Town. Small, authentic and full of character – a great place to experience the atmosphere of a traditional Spanish tapas bar.
La Niña del Pisto
A traditional restaurant specialising in Córdoba-style cuisine and tapas. A good choice for discovering flavours from Andalucía in a relaxed and typically Spanish setting.
Casa Curro
A great place for sharing traditional Spanish products such as cured meats, cheeses and prawns accompanied by a glass of Spanish wine. Perfect for a casual tapas stop while exploring the Old Town.
Bar Altamirano
A well-known traditional choice in Marbella Old Town, particularly popular for fish and seafood. It offers a simple, authentic atmosphere and is known for its good quality-to-price ratio.
The Farm Restaurant
A different option in the heart of the Old Town, combining food and cocktails with a beautiful setting and a lively atmosphere. Live music is also offered on selected evenings, making it a nice choice if you would like to stay for drinks after dinner.
Tip: All of these places are in or around Marbella centre, so you can easily combine several of them and create your own tapas evening.
Amàre Beach Club
Amàre Beach is one of the closest beachfront restaurants to the apartment and a great choice when you want to combine excellent food with a Mediterranean beach atmosphere.
Enjoy lunch or drinks by the sea while listening to chill-out music. Live music or DJ sessions often create a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere during the day, making Amàre a great place to spend a few hours by the Mediterranean.
Another advantage is its location – it is within easy walking distance from the apartment, so there is no need to take a car or taxi.
Mistral Beach
Mistral Beach is a great choice if you would like to combine a day at the beach with lunch, drinks and a lively beach-club atmosphere.
Located on the coast near Puerto Banús, it offers a relaxed Mediterranean setting where you can enjoy food and drinks directly by the sea. It is a nice place to spend several hours, have lunch and relax on the beach without having to move somewhere else afterwards.
Mistral Beach is also a good option to combine with a visit to Puerto Banús. Spend part of the day relaxing by the sea and continue to the marina later for shopping, dinner or evening drinks.
Magna Café Marbella
If you would like to escape the town for a while and enjoy beautiful green surroundings, Magna Café Marbella is a wonderful choice.
Located in a beautiful golf setting, the restaurant offers impressive panoramic views across the valley and surrounding landscape together with very good food.
It is particularly enjoyable if you are looking for a peaceful lunch or dinner surrounded by greenery and away from the busy centre of Marbella.
La Plage Casanis
For a stylish beachfront experience, La Plage Casanis combines Mediterranean dining with the atmosphere of a sophisticated beach club.
It is a beautiful place to enjoy lunch, cocktails and the sea during the day. The atmosphere becomes livelier later, with music and DJ sessions creating a very different experience from a traditional beach restaurant.
It is particularly popular for its lively Sunday atmosphere, making it a great choice if you would like to combine good food, drinks, music and a beach-party experience.
Breathe Marbella
For a more sophisticated evening, Breathe Marbella, close to Puerto Banús, is another restaurant we recommend.
Its stylish surroundings and lively atmosphere make it a great choice for a special dinner or an evening out. It is particularly suitable when you are looking for something more elegant than a casual beachfront restaurant.
During the busy summer season, we recommend booking a table in advance, as popular evenings can fill up quickly.
